Finding New Paths Together
The way to each other begins with listening.
In couples counselling, I help you recognise communication patterns, resolve conflicts constructively, and put your relationship on a new, sustainable footing.
Every relationship goes through phases in which understanding becomes harder. Misunderstandings and hurts can arise and, sometimes gradually, become entrenched over time. In couples counselling, we create a space in which both sides can feel heard and understood.
Focus Areas of Counselling
Improving Communication
Recognising conversation patterns and finding new ways of understanding each other. Learning to listen, and being heard.
Building Trust
Developing, step by step, a new foundation of mutual trust and security in the relationship.
Resolving Conflicts
Developing constructive strategies for handling conflict – and using it as an opportunity for growth.
How Does Couples Counselling Work?
Initial Conversation
In a no-obligation initial conversation, we get to know each other and clarify your concerns and expectations.
Taking Stock
With some distance, you look in the rear-view mirror and assess the current situation. Two guiding questions: What is going well so far? Where is there room for change?
Taking New Paths
With proven methods, you develop concrete strategies for improved communication and a stronger relationship.
If I had just one wish: go to couples counselling in time. It often happens that one partner wants couples counselling and the other resists. Try a single session – and think of it as an experiment.
Together we can discuss whether – and how – couples counselling is right for you.
